MGM was appointed to work with Rowen Homes, high-end furniture and interior design company to transform their new HQ from an old warehouse into an amazing work environment for their employees.

Ryan Gardiner, our PM led this scheme and worked closely with Rowen’s Lead Interior Designer to develop the scheme on a design and build basis.

The work was split into 3 main areas – The Warehouse, The Offices, and The Studio.
Warehouse – The work involved bringing the 20,000 Square Foot space up to standard, installing power and data throughout, and prepping and painting the floor to bring the warehouse to life.

Offices – The old offices, kitchen and toilets were stripped back to the core.

Working with Rowen Homes Interior Designer, MGM created an amazing space for Rowen Homes Staff to work, relax and collaborate. Bespoke Joinery and panelling were a theme throughout the full block, along with designer lighting and floor coverings. A number of the ceilings were stripped out, with the roof slab and services all sprayed White to give a light and airy feel to the kitchen and reception areas.

The main entrance staircase was fully lined with the pre-mentioned bespoke panelling and painted in warm colours and has become a real feature within this area. The toilets were stripped out, with new high-end IPS panelling installed with free-standing basins, and LED Backed Dekton panels which were imported from Spain.

Studio – MGM were asked to build a 1,000-square-foot studio for Rowen Homes to stage their furniture for the online photo shoots. Again, bespoke panelling and skirtings were a key theme, with LVT flooring throughout and Pearl Nickel electrical accessories. The lighting was installed so that individual fittings and chandeliers could be changed easily from shoot to shoot. The studio includes 2no. bedrooms, a lounge, a dining area, and a large open aspect hall.

This was one of the most challenging, but enjoyable projects we have been involved with, and the photographs show the level of detail and quality that has gone into each and every aspect of the work.
